Payroll

Payroll management and payslips

Every month the salary calculation starts from what you send and comes back as payslips ready to hand out. Contributions, withholding tax, holiday pay and bonuses are in there, and we track the legislation behind them for you.

In practice

Paying someone properly in Belgium takes more than a transfer. Personal contributions have to be withheld, employer contributions calculated, withholding tax deducted, your joint committee's pay scale respected, and a payslip produced that the worker can actually understand. A mistake on any of those lines does not show that month: it shows at the annual reconciliation, or during an inspection.

You send us the month's hours: days worked, absences, overtime, variable pay. We do the rest: the calculation, the payslips, the payment file and the filings that follow. You get documents ready to hand out, and your accountant gets the journal entries that go with them.

Frequently asked questions

What employers ask us most often about this.

When do my staff receive their payslip?

The calendar is agreed with you when the file opens, and it does not move afterwards. What matters is the date you send the hours: from there, the calculation, the payslips and the payment file follow within the agreed timing.

What happens if I send my hours late?

We remind you before the deadline, not after. A delay can be absorbed as long as there is time left before the payment date; beyond that, the correction goes out with the next run and nothing is lost.

How do I read a payslip?

Gross, personal contributions, taxable base, withholding tax, net: each line follows from the one above. Your handler walks you through it line by line the first time, and stays reachable for the ones after.

A question about this in particular?

Ask it. A handler answers within 24 working hours, without jargon.
