Employment law advice
An employment law question does not wait for month-end. You call, we answer in plain language, and we also tell you when the answer is «it depends».
In practice
Most of an employer's questions have no answer in a book: they depend on the sector, on seniority, on the contract, sometimes on a collective agreement signed three years earlier. How many days of leave, what notice period, which bonus is due, what you may ask of a worker on sick leave. These arrive at the worst moment and need a quick answer.
You call, and you speak to someone who knows your file. The answer comes within 24 working hours, in plain language, without being pointed at a piece of legislation. If it needs checking with your sector or the NSSO, we say so straight away rather than leaving you waiting.
What is included
- Applicable joint committee and sector pay scales
- Reading the collective agreements and what follows from them
- NSSO reductions, hiring incentives and exemptions
- Leave, sickness, time credit and temporary unemployment
- What the law requires of you, and what it does not
Frequently asked questions
What employers ask us most often about this.
How do I know which joint committee I fall under?
It follows from the company's actual activity, not from its NACE code or its name. We determine it when the file opens, because it drives the pay scales, the bonuses and much of what you owe.
How quickly do I get an answer?
Within 24 working hours. If the answer needs checking with the sector or the NSSO, we say so immediately and give you the timing.
Can I ask a question before becoming a client?
Yes. A first conversation costs nothing, and its first purpose is to find out whether your situation is ours to handle at all.
A question about this in particular?
Ask it. A handler answers within 24 working hours, without jargon.
