Our commitment
Paycore wants this website to be usable by everyone: with a mouse, with the keyboard alone, with a screen reader, zoomed in, with colour blindness, or on a phone held in one hand on the tram.
The standard we follow is WCAG 2.2, level AA, the one taken up by the European standard EN 301 549. It applies to the whole website: www.paycore.be, in its three languages.
A voluntary statement
No law requires it of Paycore. The European directive on the accessibility of websites covers the public sector, and the European Accessibility Act, applicable since 28 June 2025, covers services sold to consumers (online commerce, banking, transport, telecommunications) from which it still exempts microenterprises. A brochure website that sells nothing online and addresses employers falls under neither.
We publish this statement anyway, for two reasons: it tells you what to expect before you waste time finding out, and it forces us to write down in black and white what is not done yet.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. « Partially », because conformance has not been established by an audit: it rests on a self-assessment, and a self-assessment is not enough to claim more.
- Standard

- Status declared
- Partially conformant

What is already in place
- A consistent heading structure, a single main heading per page, and named navigation landmarks.
- A skip link right at the start, to get past the menu with one keystroke.
- Everything that works with a mouse works with a keyboard, with a thick, contrasted focus ring that never hides under the fixed header.
- Compliant contrasts: the brand orange is used for solid areas, never to carry text on a light background, where a darker shade takes over.
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels, including in the footer and the mobile action bar.
- Entrance animations stop by themselves when your system asks for reduced motion; there is no auto-scrolling and no flashing.
- The language of each page is declared, and the language switcher is made of real links leading to the matching page.
- Pages are designed for 360 pixels wide, checked at 320, and the text scales up without breaking the layout.
- The content is written by the server: pages remain readable even when JavaScript does not run.
What we know we have not checked yet
- No external audit has been carried out, and no testing has yet been done with disabled users.
- The full manual review (keyboard-only navigation, screen reader, 200 % zoom, display without style sheet) is planned but not finished on every page.
- How the animated sequence on the home page comes across to a screen reader has not been checked on every configuration.
- On a very narrow screen, the tables on the legal pages are read by scrolling them horizontally.
- The websites we link to (our Google listing, the client portal, public authority sites) are not covered by this statement.
This list will be shorter after the audit, and it is dated at every revision. If an obstacle is not on it, it escaped us: please tell us.
Reporting an obstacle
If a page blocks you, write or call. Give the address of the page, what you were trying to do there, and the hardware or software you use: a screen reader, a magnifier, keyboard navigation. Those three things are almost always enough for us to reproduce the problem.
